New listings straight to your phone
Add Realityradar to your phone’s home screen. It opens like an app and sends you new listings from your alerts as notifications, even when the website isn’t open.

What is a home screen app
It isn’t an app from the App Store or Google Play. You add our website to your home screen and it then opens and behaves like an app, without the browser bar.
Instant notifications
As soon as an alert finds a new listing or a price drop, your phone lets you know, just like other apps.
Icon on your home screen
Open Realityradar with one tap, no searching in the browser.
Free, no App Store
Nothing to download from a store and nothing to pay.
Setting it up on iPhone
On iPhone, notifications only come from the app on your home screen. You add it in Safari.

Tap the three dots
Tap the three dots at the bottom right of Safari.
Is your Safari bar full width at the top or bottom? Tap Share straight away and continue with step 3. On iPad, look for the buttons in the Safari bar at the top.

Tap Share
Tap Share in the menu.

Choose Add to Home Screen
Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
Not there? Scroll the list of actions down, or tap Edit Actions at the very bottom and add it.

Confirm with Add
Leave Open as Web App switched on and tap Add at the top right.

Open Realityradar from your home screen
Tap the new Realityradar icon and log in. The home screen app doesn’t remember your Safari login. Log in once in the app with the same email.

Turn on notifications
Tap Turn on notifications and choose Allow when your iPhone asks.
Notifications then arrive even when the app isn’t open.
Then turn on notifications in the Alerts section.
When notifications don’t arrive
- Are you opening Realityradar from the home screen icon? Notifications don’t work in Safari on iPhone.
- Open Settings > Notifications > Realityradar and turn on Allow Notifications.
- Turn off Do Not Disturb or another Focus mode, or allow Realityradar in it.
- Notifications need iOS 16.4 or later. You can find your version in Settings > General > About.
- Send yourself a test notification in the Alerts section to check that everything works.
Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything?
No. The home screen app and notifications are free.
Is it an app from the App Store or Google Play?
No. You add our website to your home screen and it then opens like an app. Nothing is downloaded from a store.
Does it take up space on my phone?
Hardly any. Only the icon is saved to your home screen; listings load from the website.
Why do I have to log in again in the app?
iPhone keeps the home screen app separate from Safari, so your login doesn’t carry over. Log in once and you’ll stay logged in.
How do I turn notifications off?
In the Alerts section, turn off the switch next to your device. Your alerts stay saved.
How do I remove the app from my home screen?
Like any other app: press and hold the icon and choose to remove it. This doesn’t delete your account or your alerts.
